I am a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I earned my B.S. in Business Management with a focus on Marketing. My experience teaching is varied, and includes teaching ESL to students in elementary school and assisting adults who were preparing to take IELTS or TOEFL exams. I have helped elementary school students work on improving English writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills using a number of fun methods, including video, dance, songs, and games. I have also helped adults to improve pronunciation, grammar knowledge, and essay writing.I enjoy teaching regardless of the subject matter. I love to be involved with education and witnessing a student grow throughout the learning experience. My style of tutoring is adapted to each individual student, because students each have their own style of learning. I am convinced that every student can do well with the proper guidance.In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors. I am interested in photography, traveling, kayaking, and hiking. I have lived in two countries outside of the U.S., and traveled to 18 countries. The most enjoyable destination was Lombok, Indonesia, because there were so many outdoor activities to do. Additionally, I like to eat various types of cuisine.
