I graduated from Oberlin College, and I currently live in Alpharetta, Georgia. I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics for ten years now. During this time, I have taught everything from middle school mathematics to calculus, and have become very familiar with Georgia's state curriculum.I feel very passionately about math, and I want to share that passion with my learners. I am able to help students with test preparation, including the SAT and ACT, algebra one and two, arithmetic, pre-calculus and calculus one, differential equations, geometry, and trigonometry. I have been quite successful over the years with improving my students' grades, which has pleased both the students and their parents.In my spare time, I really like to play chess. My other hobbies include playing the piano and bettering my carpentry skills.
